1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Meet My Neighbour ("MMN", "we", "us", or "our") website or mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials within the Service for personal, non-commercial use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained within the Service
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by MMN at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you guarantee that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to the restriction of access to your computer and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any and all activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password.

4. Location-Based Services

Our Service includes location-based services that require access to your device's location data. By using these features, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by disabling location services in your device settings, but this may limit your ability to use certain features of our Service.

5. User Content

• The posting of your User Content on or through the Service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other rights of any person or entity

7. Analytics and Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to help us operate our Service, including but not limited to:

• Mapbox for map functionality
• PostHog for analytics
• Supabase for authentication and data storage

These third-party services may collect information sent by your device as part of their functionality. Their use of your information is governed by their respective privacy policies.

8. Disclaimer

The materials on MMN's Service are provided on an 'as is' basis. MMN makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Further, MMN does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Service or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this Service.

9. Limitations

In no event shall MMN or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on MMN's Service, even if MMN or a MMN authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
